Getting started for Strategists (parents, carers and other adults)
You set the quests. Create your account, link to your Warrior's account, and set your first quest.
Getting started for Warriors (children, teens and adults doing the quests)
You do the quests. Set up, link to your Strategist, and earn coins, XP and cards. It's in simple words, so younger Warriors can read it too.
Getting started with Solo
Using Torvan just for yourself? Set your own quests and level up, with no one else involved.

Words you'll see
- Strategist: the parent, carer or support worker. They set quests, check proof, approve them and pay out coins.
- Warrior: the person doing the quests. They can be a child, a teenager or an adult.
- Quest: a chore or task.
- Solo (called "Just Me" in the app): one person (usually an adult) setting and completing their own quests.
- My quests: a Strategist's own quests, on the same account. In the app it shows as Me. See Your own quests.
- World: the theme a Warrior or Solo user picks, or a Strategist for My quests. It sets the colours, the World their card packs come from to start with, and some names. In the Wildlife World, for example, a Warrior is an Explorer and a Strategist is a Warden. See all nine Worlds.
